I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Journeys (Houston, TX) in Jul 2017
Interview
I was called for a group interview about a month later after applying online. Came in on Sunday it was about 5 people waiting it's good to come in 15 mins early. Waited some time and it was more than 8 people. Dress casual and wear the brand do not dress formal it was a girl who walked in formal and you could see that she felt uncomfortable after all it is journeys. There were 2 managers from journeys and one from underground. They were young and they didn't know what questions to ask so it made the group interview go by slow. After they are done asking questions they will do an activity for you to sell them something from the store. I grabbed a converse, protectant, and no show socks. Make sure if you get a shoe get add ons like socks a hat etc. Make sure to stand out and be outgoing answer all their questions even if you do not have job experience. You can tell when someone's got the job or not right off the top. Ask questions afterwards ask them do they have sales goals. They will call you in 2 days if you do not get a call apply again and show them that you want to work there do no give up.
It includes an interview with one of their managers with behavioral and experience based interview questions. They may ask for a phone screening with a manager as well. The whole process shouldn't take more than a few weeks.

Interview
It was quick and easy. Applied and got a call back 2 days later asking me why I wanted to work there and my availability. Then set up an in person interview which took around 10 minutes.
Quick 30 minute conversation. Pretty straightforward. As long as you seem like you can talk to people and are responsible you’ll be fine. Since it’s entry level they didn’t ask too much about past work experience.
