Interview
I was given a prompt interview after applying. The interview went well and quickly. I was hired on the spot. (red flag) I was given a figure for pay and a vague idea of benefits. Once I started as a store manager, I did not receive the pay that was originally discussed during the interview. Also, did not get paid the following agreed-upon figure until a month and a half of my calling payroll and being bounced around until I yelled at my regional manager to put the paperwork through for my pay increase. Needless to say, get EVERYTHING in writing before signing and starting any job or else you will end up with a headache from terrible follow-up.

The questions were completely standard. They just asked me to give a couple examples of how I've dealt with difficult customers or problematic scenarios in past jobs. then ran down the responsibilities of the position and asked if I had any questions... Pretty incomplete interview. BOTH times: once for assistant manager and once for Store manager.

After applying, I was contacted to come in store for an interview. During the interview, they asked questions about previous job history and a series of questions where you have to be specific and detailed. You’re then given a page with benefits listed on it. I heard back about a week later.

Question 1
One question that is asked is a time that you felt satisfied and dissatisfied with your current role/the company you work for.
Interviewed by Store Manager and then District Manager. First interview consists of basic questions. The second interview is more in depth. They expect you to ask a lot of questions and know at least a little about the company. Meeting sales goals daily/weekly is VERY important for growth in the company, so being a goal oriented is extremely important. Being well dressed, outgoing and interested in fashion (not necessarily shoes) is a must.
Was called to set up an interview and I asked what the salary would be. The girl refused to give me an answer. She kept saying it varied by location and store sales. I asked for a ballpark amount and she still would not answer the question. I asked how I would know what I would be making and she said the district manager determines pay and I would find out if I was offered a position. I have never heard of a company not giving someone even an average range of pay. This makes me very suspicious of the company.
