I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Journeys (McLean, VA) in Jul 2015
Interview
I submitted the application online in early June. I hadn't heard anything from Journeys so I assumed that they weren't hiring anymore. At the end of July I saw that they still had a now hiring sign in the window so I went in to talk to a manager. I talked to the district manager and he said he had already review my application and could interview me the next day. The interview was very relaxed and easy. He told me about the company and how he started working there. He asked a few questions about why I wanted to work for Journey's and if I was looking for a place to grow. He offered me the job on the spot and I filled out the paper work the same day.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Journeys
Interview
It was quick and easy. Applied and got a call back 2 days later asking me why I wanted to work there and my availability. Then set up an in person interview which took around 10 minutes.
Quick 30 minute conversation. Pretty straightforward. As long as you seem like you can talk to people and are responsible you’ll be fine. Since it’s entry level they didn’t ask too much about past work experience.
