Just Eat Takeaway.com interview questions

Initially I had a phone interview with a hiring consultant based in Canada. A coding test followed. I've programmed to abstractions, and added unit tests, acceptance tests, and having StyleCop rules enforced throughout. Their feedback was negative. After asking for more details, I realised the person who evaluated my technical solution didn't have a clue about the requirements presented in the test. Should I say "fair enough"? In any case, I realised who am I dealing with after seeing one of their comment referring to the futility of several parts of my code in which I was validating input parameters in a publicly exposed functionality. Unbelievable this is still subject to debate nowadays for some.
