My interview with k12 schools was very professional and comfortable. The questions I was asked were great conversation started that created productive discussions. The culture of the interview was comfortable with thought provoking questions.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at K12 (Columbia, MO) in Oct 2023
Interview
The initial interview after I submitted my application was through HireVue. I've had horrible experiences with HireVue in the past, it's just such a difficult service to use in my opinion. Once they reviewed my HireVue interview, I received a phone call from the Executive Director of the school in my state - this was an informational phone call, he gave a lot of very good information to overview the school and how it operates as well as the job duties for his school counselors. He asked me if I was interested in scheduling a virtual interview. The virtual interview was very smooth and quick and involved the Principal for the school as well as the Executive Director.
