It was a campus interview round post MBA. The manager not only inquired about studies and relevant things that would suit the job role from a fresher perspective, but also checked on the ability of the candidate to analyse situation and describe their approach to find a solution to given problem. I believe this is a better view of interviewing as it does not depend on the the academic score but the capability of the candidate.
