I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPIT Technologies (Kānpur, Uttar Pradesh) in Oct 2018
Interview
The interview is taken online and its almost take one or two hours. First, they have asked a few data structure concepts. Then They asked two coding questions to code in a doc like shared UI. After that, I have to go through the code using a few test cases. Then They asked few Machine Learning basic concepts. Finally, they created a scenario and asked me solve this using machine learning. This part is challenging as it can have multiple solutions possible and actually I have explained two solutions according to me which might solve the problem more precisely.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at KPIT Technologies in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process at KPIT Technologies was not a good experience. It felt unstructured and unprofessional. The interview was scheduled only 1–2 hours in advance, which gave very little time to prepare.
The interviewer did not seem to know who they were interviewing or what position the interview was for. Many of the questions were irrelevant to the role, including technical questions that were not related to the position. Some questions also felt very generic, like they were taken from ChatGPT rather than based on the actual job requirements.
After the interview, there was no proper follow-up or communication. Overall, the process felt disorganized, unhelpful, and not very professional.
