I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2011
Interview
The on-campus interview was about 20 minutes, very laid back and great for asking questions. The second interview was at their office and was all day. It consisted of two face-to-face interviews, a service project, a group activity, lunch, a meet-and-greet activity, and then dinner with your spouse and the staff there. I learned that I had the internship in less than a week, and during my internship, I received a full-time offer, which I accepted.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I always find the question difficult, "Where do you see yourself in five years?" because I honestly feel like I might not even be with a company in five years, but that is expected in public accounting, and I was told that.
The interview process includes an application review, online assessments, recruiter screening, behavioral and technical interviews, and sometimes case studies or partner interviews, evaluating communication, problem-solving, technical knowledge, and cultural fit.
Smooth interview process that took only a week. The interval of the two interviews were short. Both the hiring manager and the Team Manager that interviewed me nice and approachable.
Easy going and straight foward a good combination between technical skills and behavioral question. Some of the queestion related to accounting and audit question and some related to our attitude
