I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at KPMG (Washington, DC) in Mar 2019
Interview
I applied while I was in living in another country. Process took 12 weeks from first contact till offer. Multiple rounds of telephonic interview including video interview. Interviews with peers, Asst Directors and a Director. Also had a technical SQL based challenge to be completed offline and an online psychometric eval.
Not much room for salary negotiations especially if you are international candidate. Questions ranged from technical skills like SQL to behavioral questions with heavy focus on why I will like to move internationally and what value do I bring to the table. I was also asked several questions on the state of the financial markets in Australia, as well as how newer innovations like blockchain can be used to service clients.
