I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at KPMG (New York, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
Was referred by a friend and only had final round interview at a KPMG "super day". Had two interviews with senior managers. One interviewer decided that 30 minutes was not enough for her and conducted a longer interview in which she asked technical questions (was a behavioral interview). I have interviewed at KPMG in the past and I actually received an offer to be a tax intern. The interviewing process at KPMG and the other big 4 accounting teams is pretty straightforward in that they ask behavioral questions and more or less just want to know if you are able to manage your time and that you can work on a team.

Scenario based questions based on role applied for
The interview process includes an application review, online assessments, recruiter screening, behavioral and technical interviews, and sometimes case studies or partner interviews, evaluating communication, problem-solving, technical knowledge, and cultural fit.
Smooth interview process that took only a week. The interval of the two interviews were short. Both the hiring manager and the Team Manager that interviewed me nice and approachable.
