I was reached out by a recruiter. First phone screening with the hiring manager, he was late by 20 minutes to call. The call was short since he was running late for another meeting. I was told by the recruiter he liked me and arranged an onsite interview. It took a while to arrange since KWI was very slow with their responses. On the day of the interview the Interviewer put his leg up on the table during the interview, he asked me some technical questions but NO management related questions. A week later the recruiter calls and told me they like my technical background but i don't have the in depth management experience they want. Not sure how they made that conclusion since i wasn't asked ANY management related questions. I was up front from the phone screening that i have 2 years of management experience & thats what is also on my resume. I feel like i was age discriminated since i look young. They made a Sr Lead offer and when i spoke to the hiring manager in a follow up call, i explained the challenges it might bring me with his new plan. After the phone call KWI went ghost on me without any explanation. Wasted almost 2 months in this process. Such a weird company.
