Upon submitting an online application, I was contacted by a company recruiter by E-mail indicating interest. A telephone interview followed. Within the next two weeks, I was invited to a second telephone interview with the lead engineer, which likewise went well as I had done my homework on the company. I subsequently was rushed (literally) into a third telephone interview with the department lead, which was a pleasant experience, but I could have used a bit more time to prepare. I was reasonably confident that an onsite interview would follow. Instead, I received the "silent treatment" for several weeks, and then a denial E-mail from the recruiter, with predictably minimal explanation and without further elaboration upon my polite request. Overall, not a terrible experience, but the process could have been streamlined so I wouldn't have needed to invest what was ultimately spent energy.
