Kaiser contacted my nursing program to give my class information on how to apply for the externship. All students who applied were given an interview at one of several locations, I was assigned to Ontario, CA. It was a panel interview that included nurse managers from various units, a clinical instructor from my school, and myself. The interview was very friendly and lasted about 30 minutes. I was eventually selected for L&D and lived the experience. After the interviews all my peers that had interviewed there went to lunch. By the time we had gotten out food we all began receiving call notifying us if we had been selected.
