Recruiter contacted me, I explained that the experience I had was not the same type I thought they were looking for. I was told I was still suitable so asked to complete a cognitive assessment and a personality assessment. Then had a phone interview with the recruiting manager, followed by an in person interview. At the in person interview I faced multiple questions about the experience I had told the recruiter I did not have.
Not that I expected to be asked to go through to the next stage because my experience was not aligned with their requirements but I have not had so much as a call or email to tell me that they opted for someone else. For a company that is all about 'employee engagement', actually having the decency to thank people for their time might be a start.
