I applied for a position with Kenvue and was invited to take their entrance exam, which consists of six sections. On my first attempt, I narrowly missed passing by one point in two sections. I returned to retake the exam and successfully passed all sections. Following this, I was invited to interview. During the interview, I was asked where I see myself in five years. I responded that I hoped to grow into a supervisory role. This answer appeared to be viewed negatively, as the company seemed to prefer candidates who intended to remain in a manufacturing role long-term. With eight years of experience, my goal is to continue developing professionally and pursue growth opportunities within a company, similar to the career paths taken by others in leadership positions. Ultimately, I believe my long-term goals did not align with the expectations for this role, which is why I was not selected.
