I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Keyence (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2017
Interview
I applied for this position online and was contacted by an outside recruiter a several weeks later. The company was searching for recent graduates that are able to start in that upcoming May/June. The recruiter set up an initial call to explain a bit more about the company as well as the position I had applied for. She asked several basic interview questions such as, why I wanted that position, what I look for in a company, why I am interested in a technology based company, etc. From there you have to apply to the company itself. If your resume is accepted you have to complete a 55 question exam in 25 minutes on basic conceptual physics.

Question 1
You are asked 55 questions in 25 minutes on conceptual physics, If your score is high enough you will be contacted to take a personal assessment test and an online computer ran interview. Meaning that the questions are asked via a recorded simulation and then record your answer to play back to managers later. If you move through the process from there you have a third in person interview.
Very odd, one hirevue and then they fly you out to chicago. The chicago process is smooth. One interview and roll play. Great time to practice skills and continue to get better.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Keyence
Interview
The interview process starts with an informational session. After that, you complete a digital interview assessment, and only those who pass move on to a traditional Zoom interview. There are definitely a lot of stages you have to pass to get to the final round.

They may conduct a mock sales conversation where you will have to sell them something. Or they may ask you what you think will be the hardest part of the job.
Good practice for the job, multiple stages involving phone screening with HR, meeting with director, then mock presentation and interview with manager. Make sure to practice discovery questions for the mock presentations to help you understand client needs.
