I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Keyence (Montreal, QC) in Nov 2018
Interview
It was a video interview that lasted about 20 min. Ask mostly general stuff about your pass experience and how you would be a good fit. Also they asked why Keyence. The tricky part is the impromptu task of having to sell to the interviewer an item. Basically have to convince them to buy something they don't need. Key is to ask a lot of questions before pitching anything to get an understanding of what they are looking for/value most.
Brief phone call, then a zoom interview with hiring manager, then an in person interview with included sales pitch role-play. They give plenty of info about the role-play in advance.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Keyence in Feb 2026
Interview
There were three interviews, initial Talent Acquisition, phone screen (to confirm location preferences and answer questions), then final sales role-play/behavioral interview. There was also a prep session before the final interview where they talk more about the company and you have time to ask questions on the role-play.
Actually it was around 4-5 rounds , they generally assess your communication and creativity. So , we can expect less technical questions . Gd round was quite easy and topics will be very simple
