I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kiddie Academy (Hicksville, NY) in Dec 2022
Interview
The interview was simple and easy to follow. At first it was just filling out paperwork and a paper application with your experience and preferences. As the interview progressed, I was questioned on my experience as a way to get an idea of which age groups I was most familiar with. I was questioned on the job description and given a few examples of situations and asked what I would do in that situation. Once everything was all said and done, I was actually offered the job which was a nice surprise. I was given some paperwork to fill out and was required to get a physical + a TB test and get my fingerprinting done, understandably.
