I applied online. I interviewed at Kikoff (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
The first two rounds are good with professional interviewers. All the questions are about marketing cases. The final rounds was the most unhappy and weird interview I have ever had with their high-level managers. Felt not respected. They loved to ask privacy questions, and tried to stress you intentionally with questions that is related to your education background, your majors in the college, instead of focusing on the professional questions and the position-related questions.

Why you choose to find a marketing job instead of go to academia?
I applied online. I interviewed at Kikoff in Dec 2025
Interview
3 rounds: 1st round was mostly behavioral + one short market sizing question with follow-ups.
2nd round was a 45-minute interview with the first 10 minutes dedicated to behavioral questions, and the remaining 30 towards a marketing case study.
3rd round was tricky. Spoke with the firm execs about background, fit, previous experiences, and future interests/passions.

Interview
Interview 1 - with Senior Manager, very brief, thought I wasn't being considered because the interviewer kept looking at something else and wasn't really interested in my answers. Somehow made it to the next round.
Interview 2 - Case interview. Meeting set with the Associate who was younger and less experienced than I was. Was told the case would take me a couple of hours of work, it took me a day and a half. Presented the case, was told I did a good job and was asked questions I had answered in my presentation. Wasn't given feedback. Was ignored and then rejected without explanation 3 weeks later.
