My interview experience with Kikoff was disappointing and frustrating. I applied for the senior frontend engineer position. Being a seasoned frontend engineer, I mentioned my interest in full-stack, but I clearly expressed my lack of experience in that scope. Despite that, I was interviewed for the full-stack role. This led to an unsuccessful interview, as I could not meet the requirements. 2 hours were wasted.
Following this, I was invited to interview for the frontend position, which aligned with my skills and expectations. I successfully completed a technical interview, building a React app from scratch, but unfortunately, I received no response from the recruiter after the interview. Despite following up, I was ghosted.
I was very disappointed with the unprofessional recruiter, who first wasted 2 hours of my time and 2 Kikoff developers for unnecessary interviews, and then didn't find 10 min to write an email.
