I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Klaviyo in Jan 2022
Interview
Got a LinkedIn message from a recruiter and I was familiar with Klayviyo’s good reputation so I accepted an initial screening call. So far so good. Then a couple days later I’m told that the position was filled but they had another similar opening available. Spoke with a sales manager and moved onto the next step with flying colors. Was told I’d be doing a mock sales call as the next step so I spent a couple hours doing prep work and thought I did a solid job on the mock call itself. The recruiter texted me afterwards that the feedback was great and I’d be moving onto the next step. Cue the radio silence. I reach back out after a few days of hearing nothing. No text back from the recruiter. I receive an automated rejection email saying the position I applied for was filled. Started the interview process around December 18 and got the auto rejection on Feb 1st. It was a long process just to be let down with lack of communication and supposedly two positions being filled mid-interview process.

I applied online. I interviewed at Klaviyo (Denver, CO) in Apr 2026
Interview
The process had 6 steps: recruiter interview, hiring manager interview, mock discovery call, in-person panel interview, Leadership interview, then offer. The recruiter and hiring manager steps were pretty similar. They asked about experience and situational questions like "tell me about a time when..." They gave lots of resources for the mock discovery and were looking for how you structure calls, your sales process, and next steps.
