Interview
The interview process took around 4 weeks. It could be shorter if you don't need to go through the initial technical screen. The process: 1. Technical Screen (0.5 h) 2.HR screen 3. Technical screen with 3 team members (1.5 h in total) 4. Interview with the Partner. I performed well on all first 3 steps and failed the last one: the conversation with the Partner. So my advice is to make sure you know your technical skills well, but also your communication skills and the way you express your interest in the job should be really sharpened as well. I didn't do a good job in that part, which is painful. But I learned a lot. Known is looking for data scientists with consulting skills like client interaction and perfect communication skills. Make sure you explain your previous experiences well enough as it reflects your ability to communicate well. I can't stress enough on how important is the last step, which is honestly the easiest in terms of preparation. But you have to get your mindset into the communication/consulting zone and make sure you are approachable and likable. In general, it was a nice experience. Everyone I met there was very very friendly. Many of them hold a PhD and transitioned from academia so they are down to earth. The technical screen is short and they focus on going through certain number of questions, so the impression might be that the interviewer is unfriendly..But it's not the case, it's just a matter of limited time to cover certain questions for the interviewer.
The recruiter was very nice and efficient. The process includes phone screening, technical interview with a data scientist from the team, and finally a behavioral interview with the director. The overall feedback I received was good but unfortunately didn’t get the offer.

Solid interview process, everyone at the company is great! Had 3 small interviews with various employees and then a case study as the final round, presenting for a panel. The case study was fair and they give you ample time to pull the data and report on it. During the presentation the team asked various questions about how you came to your conclusions and why.
