The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Raleigh, NC) in Jun 2011
Interview
The interview was fairly easy. The first day was a group interview where she went around the circle and asked us questions like:
Why do you want to work for Kohl's?
Describe a time you had to face a challenge?
Describe a time you provided great customer service.
Then they pulled us aside and interviewed us 1:1 for like 10 mins. I was rescheduled for another 1:1 two days later. The guy I talked to was kind of awkward and asked me basically the same questions. I didn't get called back (I think my availability wasn't what they were looking for), but the process was simple enough.
About 20 minutes , basic questions about teamwork and customer service. Had the interview and they called a few minutes later to offer me the job. The interviewer was very nice and made me feel calm
It was painless and super easy and I'm just putting in this information so I can view the average salaries of a company because I can't use Glassdoor unless I do this.
It was over the phone and very straight forward. I spoke with the current 02 (Assistant Store Manager) at the time and it focused on previous experiences in teams. Afterward, I received an email to complete the onboarding process online, filling out paperwork.
