I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Wooster, OH) in Apr 2012
Interview
I filled out my application on Snagajob and within a week I heard from the local Kohl's. At seventeen, I had only held one job as a farmhand but I had a lot of experience in community service. I went in, it was a group interview. Everyone was asked to answer a question and try to be "unique" in their answers (as in, don't repeat what the person next to you said). This lasted for about an hour. They were super nice! Within a few days, I received a call and just went back for a few additional questions and some paperwork. I was in! Kohl's is a fantastic company and is super helpful!

Interview
I had a remotely easy interview process that went pretty quick. They asked the average questions, but the pay was not the best so I did not go with them.

scheduled Zoom interview TWICE and both times, I waited in appropriate "room" and no one from Kohls "showed up". I even called the local store and asked if I should keep waiting, who ever answered checked and they said yes, they will be right with you. I waited over 30 minutes each time.

I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Fort Smith, AR) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview was completely online, and I spoke with someone from HR. The interview was incredibly short and lacked much substance. The interview consisted of basic questions about when I would be available, but also included a personal question about going out of my way to help somone. All in all, it was a horrible experience.
