I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Raleigh, NC) in Mar 2013
Interview
I applied through the ncsu epack database and was contacted to set up an initial on campus interview which lasted about 30 minutes. I received an email about a week later saying I had moved on to the next round which was a 4 hour visit to one of their stores which included three interviews, a case study, a tour, and a question and answer session. The communication was very comfortable and did not feel too forced. Mostly situational and personality questions.

Interview
My initial communication with a Kohl's employee started at my school's career fair. They asked me a few questions (major, graduation date, interest in retail, etc), and then scheduled my first on-campus interview for the following week. The first interview lasted about 30 minutes. It was very comfortable and casual. I was mainly asked questions concerning my leadership capabilities, past situations where I implemented these abilities and what the outcome of the situation was, etc. About a week later, I got an email saying I had made it to the final interview round. It lasts nearly 4 hours. There is a group interview, individual interviews, a store tour, and Q&A session at the end. Very casual and laid back setting.
