I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Menomonee Falls, WI) in Nov 2012
Interview
There was a large group of people but we interviewed individually with two different merchandise buyers. We also had time to speak with someone in the current role we were interviewing for to ask any questions we may have.

Question 1
All of the questions were pretty standard retail questions.
The 30 minute phone call started with a representative giving information about the role such as hourly pay, location, hybrid schedule, benefits offered, and more. I was given the opportunity to ask questions relating to this. The person on the phone then asked if I would be interested in continuing the interview process after hearing more details. I said yes and then was asked a couple simple "interview" like questions and the 30 minutes were up.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's in Mar 2025
Interview
The overall process only took a week for me. On Monday, I spoke to the recruiter via phone for about 30 minutes; they explained the position, benefits, pay, and the next steps. In my case, they immediately invited me to the next step of interviewing with the department hiring manager. On Wednesday, I met with 2 hiring managers; the conversation was more casual than I thought. Both hiring managers were very friendly and informative about the role and their expectations. I would be prepared to talk about your experiences, answer "have you ever..." questions, and have questions for the interviewer prepared. On Friday, I received a call from the recruiter to extend their offer.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Kohl's (Milwaukee, WI) in Mar 2021
Interview
Did a phone interview with typical questions. However never heard back after that they just ghosted. If you aren’t up for the job anymore just let a person know through a quick email.
