I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kohl's (Riverside, CA) in Sep 2013
Interview
I applied online for a seasonal position and they called me a month or more later for a group interview, and I was told if I get asked after the group interview to stay for a one on one interview then that means I got the job. I went to the interview and there were about 10 of us getting interviewed. They had us fill out the applications then when we were done the store manager and another manager interviewed us. They asked us a few questions, and let us know about working there and how much we will be getting paid. Then they called us one by one and interviewed us for probably at least 10 minutes. I was told I will get a call in a week (I interviewed on a Wednesday). A week went by, and nothing. So I thought maybe they meant a week in business days? Turns out I was right and about a couple of days after the week went by I got a call that I got the job. The interview is simple if you're prepared, which I think that's what got me the job. I practiced example questions from this site, and I went in with confidence and kept eye contact with the main manager while talking along with the other manager who was there observing.
