I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Irvine, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
It was a group panel interview. It was for seasonal hire, so the HR was looking for some quick hire. I would suggest you make yourself stand out. I noticed that those who were shy or did not bother to speak up that much, were not hired. I does not matter if you have never worked before in your life, just offer examples from volunteering, clubs etc. being a girl scout...lol they really want people who can sell credits so any selling moments would be great.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a specific situation where you provided customer service.
It was a pretty standard interview with situational questions and they explained the job duties. They also took me around the store to show me around and introduce me to everyone.
Pretty straight forward, the interview was like any other for any clothing company. Pretty quick, from call to being on the job took 1-2 weeks minimum. Though pay wasn’t that great, it was still a good learning experience.

Question 1
If a customer asked for a location of a product what will you do
Fairly easy interview with standard questions about experience and availability. The interviewer was professional and explained the role clearly. I was surprised to learn of evening availability requirements that were not reflected in the availability I submitted on my application.
