There were three interviews. From application submission, to final decision it took under 2 months.
Discovery Call - 30 Minutes
Questions like "Tell me about yourself, what was a pivotal time in your career, what do you know about Konrad"
In Person Meeting with Manager - 1 Hour
"We pulled your resume from a pile of many, why do you think we did?"
"Tell me about yourself" and general chats about what they do / curiosity about the job.
Case Study - 4 Hours During Work Hours (Unpaid)
It's a case study on a company where you need to analyze a website and then come up with an objective, analysis of issue (swot), personas (however many you can come up with), customer journey maps for each, information architecture, and a writing sample finished with a conclusion.
And then you present it to your potential boss.
I understand why someone would want someone to do this, to see how people perform under pressure and it gives you the ability to show your skills. However, it doesn't leave a whole lot of time to truly analyze your thoughts and perhaps that's the point. I think after completing something like this (unpaid), you should at least be given feedback but unfortunately, it wasn't the case.
