Nothing unusual, fairly straightforward process. The plant team was clearly interested in my capability and experience. After 3 quite positive interviews HR called me and said "you are selected, we will proceed with the formal offer". 3 days later she called again and said that senior managers (from the HQ) also want to talk. So I had my 4th interview, and then was.. rejected due to some superficial reasons which made me wonder about the professionalism and the competency of these leaders, and ultimately success of the the opex transformation the company had embarked on. In the hindsight I am actually happy I won't be working there.
