I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Houston, TX) in Jun 2016
Interview
After applying online via snagajob.com I was called the next day and had a short interview on the phone regarding if I planned on working there short or long term, and I was asked for a moment I was a leader. After that, he gave me the location of the in-person interview we agreed on an interview time the next day. The actual interview was a group interview and the 8 of us were split into 2 groups of 4. Our groups had to present a short "commercial" using a layout with examples on paper. It wasn't a competition, but rather to see how enthusiastic and personable you are. After that 5 of the 8 in the group were led out, and the remaining 3 (including myself) were told we were being offered the job. However, we had to take an oral drug test first then we would be given the offer. My interview was on a Saturday morning andI started my training on the next Monday.
