I applied online. I interviewed at Kroger (Irving, TX) in Sep 2014
Interview
Went to the local recruitment store location upon my interview. I thought the interview was going to be one on one but it turned out to be a group interview. We watched a couple of videos pertaining Kroger's expectations, store dynamic, and basics upon customer service. Afterwards, we did a group discussion activity upon a couple of store scenarios based upon handling situations and perspective of others. Then, each person briefly talked to the recruiter upon which position they wanted, store location to work, and confirming upon questions and personal information being accurate. Once everyone talked the recruiter, we had watched one last video, had to give the recruiter our self-swabbing drug test, and the interview was over. Overall, if you stayed for the entire duration of the interview without leaving and passed the drug/background check, you got the job!
