I applied online. I interviewed at Kroger (Roanoke, VA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Mainly, I did not have an interview. I called asking for the hiring manager, told her I submitted an application online and requested to come and speak with her. I set a time and date, went in, went over my application a bit, tweaked my availability, took a drug test, filled forms and was sent to training. However, someone I know went through a different process. He sent an application, was sent an email from a recruiter (I had not received one), called the recruiter with a number given in the email, discussed a few questions with them (such as why should we hire you and, if there is an unsatisfied customer how do you handle it) and then they set up a time to go in store to do the same thing I had done which was go over the application once more, take a drug test and fill out some forms and then come in at a later date to schedule training.
