I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Cumming, GA) in May 2018
Interview
The person I was suppose to interview with wasn't there so I interviewed with someone that was there. Asked me a few questions, at the end they told me I needed to confirm with my parents that i could work 2 days a week until 10PM during the school year. So the interviewer wrote down a phone number to call to confirm with them, couldn't read the number correctly so I went back in a few days later, I confirmed that I could work during the school year with an employee that was there (upper management). They told me to come in 2 days later to bring my social security and also to fill out new hire forms, so 2 days later I went in and i talked to the same person I talked to 2 days ago, she tells me that she doesn't have my file yet it still might be processing information in HR, anyways she tells me that i was suppose to call in (which she didnt tell me to do 2 days ago) so she writes down for me two phone numbers to call, a couple days later I got an email from Kroger saying they have moved on from me in the hiring process. So I ended up not getting hired, thus proving how unorganized they were.

The interview process includes application review, initial screening, one or more interviews (phone, video, or in-person), skill assessments, reference checks, and finally, a job offer or rejection notification. It was great.

The job interview was really simple and straightforward. The employer asked me a couple of personal questions and my past experiences. It was during my high school years and I didn’t have much experience.
