I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at L3Harris in Nov 2021
Interview
I had a video interview with a panel. They went from person to person asking questions about my 20+ years of experience. One person kept wanting me to define python terms in textbook format, which was a little odd, as I would have thought that type of question would be more suited to someone who had just graduated from college and would have little work experience.
Everyone was very friendly and professional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked several questions about estimating cost and schedule, which was fine as I have quite a bit of project leadership and proposal experience. I was asked to define terms in python, which was hard for me, not because I don't use or understand them, but because I don't think about wordy definitions of things I use on a daily basis.
Submitted online resume. Met with recruiter. Then with 2 hiring managers in engineering at the facility and took a technical assessment. Followed up in two weeks and never received a response.
