I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2015
Interview
Easy. I was hired mainly because of my looks. They just wanted to make sure I had personality, a car and no kids. I casually asked for a job and didn't realize I was talking to the General Manager. He was young and athletic build. He only cared that I lived close by and was hot, After he decided he wanted to hire me you said his boss, the regional manager wanted to meet me but I basically had the job. The next day I went to meet him and he asked me my experience in sales which is a good deal of experience and hired me on the spot. I went back to my home club and started working that day.
The interview process was great. I had two interviews, but one could have been more professional than the other. The experience is overall bad because I was promised a position as an assistant manager but I was given a different position with a much lower pay.
Not really an interview at all. You get the job if you have consistent transportation pretty much. They go over pay and things like that. Really the interview is just a formality
Took about 15 minutes, asked simple questions. Anyone could get this job so long as you have a pulse. Pay offered was not great so did not stay with the company for very long.
