The Operations Manager talked a lot about his salary and how the position is largely based on commission. As a operations manager you rely largely on the sales team to help you make commission towards your salary. The OMIT makes $12 an hour and then $13 when promoted to Operations manager. You make commission two different ways- when you sell a new membership, or get people to renew/upgrade their existing membership. The position seemed too sales based versus operating and assisting the actual club day to day.
