I was asked basic interview questions it was short and sweet. Two days later i received another text asking if i was available to come in for a second interview.

Interview
They interviewed me for the wrong position...
I applied for either a membership counselor, or a club staff position. Within one day I got a phone call from a personal training manager inviting me in for an interview. I didn't think much of it, I thought maybe she was in charge of hiring or maybe she was considered like the General Manager. I went for the interview. She told me 12:30pm, I showed up at 12:27pm and she didn't even come over to me until 12:40pm. I sat with her for approximately 10 mins, she asked me what hours I could work, do I have sales experience, and do I have my own transportation. She then tells me I have to go for a second interview right now with her boss who's in Clifton. I drove 30 minutes to Clifton to meet with him. I met him and it seemed normal at first but then he started asking me heavily related personal training related questions. When he asked me if I was comfortable walking someone through a workout, I had to stop him and ask him what job I was interviewing for. I applied for a Membership Counselor or a front desk position, and ended up being interviewed for a Personal Trainer Membership Counselor. I never even applied for that job as I am not a personal trainer. Horrible incompetence from the management team for interviewing me for a job I never applied for, plus making me drive 30 minutes away for a job I never applied for. I didn't think I would have to double check what position I was interviewing for.
