I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied online, completed numerical, verbal and logical tests online and a month later was invited for a telephone interview. It consisted of competency and motivation questions. Not a nice experience - the interviewer rushed through the interview in 10 minutes and kept interrupting me when I was giving answers to move on to the next question as though she didn't care and was rushing to be somewhere. This was very rude and not something I've experienced before. LSEG also expect you to have high technical ability in coding and programming - why bother saying you accept any degree discipline when you clearly only want graduates of computer science degree ability?

Interview
First online assessment centre was cancelled. I was ghosted after doing the reorganised assessment centre. The interviewers were friendly, but the process was generally really unorganised and communication was poor throughout.

Behavioural questions.
Teamwork questions.
Problem-solving questions (generic encryption and decryption).

IQ questions.
The assessment was not time-limited. You will definitely need a piece of paper a pen and a calculator as some of the problem solving questions require calculations.

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) (London, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
Applied in October 2024, gave penultimate round in November 2024. Waited 6+ months post-interview with no updates for final assessment centre despite multiple follow-ups. HR ignored LinkedIn outreach. Process lacked transparency, one of the worst hiring process ever!
