Bizarre experience. I was not well qualified for this position from the beginning. Got contacted by HR the day after I applied. Had a phone screening with HR where she read off behavioral questions and typed my answers in. There was no room for questions from me and no information about the job was offered. I was quite honest regarding what I knew and did not know. I really thought it went quite badly and was surprised to get a phone interview with the hiring manager. This was a great interview but throughout it I kept expecting him to say "you really don't have the experience/qualifications for this job". Was shocked to be asked in for a F2F interview. I'm wondering if I was the only person who applied for the job. I turned down the interview because I really don't think I can do the job and it seems like that wasn't an issue for them.
