Had a group interview where they asked me about my background and experience. They also had a list of questions they went through--your typical situations--how would you react to a co-worker who talks all the time and doesn't get their work done, etc.

Interview
Interview consisted of a phone interview followed by an in person interview at the lab. There is a tour of all the stations followed by a hands on portion that requires no experience but gives you an idea of the type of tasks you may have to do.
Applied online, a few weeks later got a call back. Did a phone interview then callled on for a face to face interview. Questions asked were straightforward and then we took a tour of the lab.

Just know how to use a pipet, do a little background research on the department and ask questions. Not a hard interview at all, and only one interview. Just be personable.
