I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Labcorp in Feb 2014
Interview
Someone from out of state called me to confirm my appointment and location details. I drove out to the location and had to be buzzed in order to enter. The branch handles criminal investigation so their facility is secure. I was escorted to the meeting room which was an office. They asked me some questions related to the job and how I would handle the flow of work. Stuff like, how I would set up my work space, how I would handle emergency situations, and how I would handle stress.

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Labcorp in Dec 2025
Interview
I applied online, had a recruiter phone screen, then an interview with a supervisor focusing on accuracy and procedures. After background check and drug test, I received onboarding and training.
A phone interview with a recruiter and a one-on-one interview with the lab manager followed about a week later. In-person interview covered standard questions about work style, career goals, and previous experience. The interviewer was nice and was transparent about the work expected in the role. The interview lasted approximately half an hour, followed by a tour of the lab.
