The recruiter did a great job on our initial call providing me information about the role, the company, and ultimately was a good resource throughout the process. However, it was very disappointing that it took the hiring manager/ team almost two weeks to review my written assignment that followed the initial phone screen with the recruiter. When asked, I also was not provided any expectations or understanding for the timeline around when the team would reach back out to me with a decision for potential next steps. The team ultimately decided not to move forward, which I understand, but it was a poor candidate experience considering the amount of time left without any expectations set after I followed up mutliple times to check in on my status.
