I submitted my application online and heard back from someone in HR that they wanted me to complete a 30 minute online video interview with 3 days notice. Within this short time frame, I spent nearly a full day prepping to make sure I would present myself well on camera, using my limited free time. After completing the interview, I sent a note to the interviewer expressing that I was done and looking forward to next steps; when, a week later, I had not heard back, I followed up again. Both times I was met with no response... this was over 2 months ago! If you make it past the general screening and get a video interview request, be warned: you will not even get the courtesy of an email telling you the firm isn't interested. This is a big time commitment in an early stage of a hiring process and I'm appalled that Latham doesn't value its candidates' time enough to at least acknowledge their efforts. This experience would make me very wary of applying for a job here in the future and I would tell any one of my colleagues or friends the same. I would prefer to work for a company that respects its hiring candidates.
