There was a recruiter screening phone, then an online interview with the hiring manager in China, then regional marketing manager in Singapore. Afterwards, I had an in-person meeting with the head of Japan. There was a take home project for the first interview, nothing out of reason. Everything was fine up until the in-person meeting. I felt confident and had a positive phone call with the recruiter, but was then told they forgot to inform me of an additional interview with the head of marketing in France. The feedback from this surprise interview came 2 weeks later, making the whole thing a massive waste of time.
