A recruiter contacted me on 2 positions I applied for; talked to me about the positions, the salary, the benefits, and how I was a ‘fit’ for the positions. Led me to believe I was moving forward. The recruiter needs to talk benefits after the interviews, not before.
Job #1: I rec’d a decline email stating position was filled the very next day -which it remained posted online a solid week later! Job #2: I interviewed with dept as a group twice. Once on the phone and it went great and the next time virtually. They were unprepared virtually, unsure if it was a bad connection or what, but it wasn’t great. Multiple scenario questions, nothing about what I was capable of doing as a team member! I felt a big disconnect afterwards. I was told I’d get a ‘tour’ of dept which never happened, so I knew then I wasn’t moving forward. Next day, portal showed I was not selected.
