I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lemonade Insurance (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Jul 2026
Interview
The process began with a phone call with the recruiter, explaining a bit about the company, the position and the process.
Then its a system design interview with the team lead, followed by a coding session using AI coding assistants.
System design is rather easy, about one of their existing flows, yet felt that they tried too hard to get to their own solution rather than accepting that there are other solutions as well.
The day after a different HR called to let me know they wont be moving forward with me as the system design was not good enough for them.

Most of the interviewer were really nice besides a team lead which was very weird.
The communication with the hr mostly was fine, at some point it wasn't clear if i was supposed to get the questionin advance so the interviewer provided it on the sopt which was fine for me
The process included a phone call with the recruiter, an in-office system design interview, and a technical interview via Microsoft Teams. Overall, the experience was seamless and personalized, with flexibility to align with both my schedule and skill set.
