I was reached out to on LinkedIn asking if an open position at the company is of interest to me. I responded saying yes, and we had a phone interview shortly. My information was then forwarded to a person in the office I was supposed to interview at. This person emailed asking my availability for an interview, which I responded the same day with. I didn't get a response back, so followed up with the initial person that reached out to me. I was told that the office person at DRS didn't hear back from me, which is a blatant lie. She proceeded to rub this in my face saying that "it's too bad the timing didn't work out". What kind of a recruiter speaks like this to a potential candidate? I don't know what I did to receive such nastiness.
I am stunned at such unethical hiring practices from a so-called established, large corporation. If I was treated this way during an interview, how would it be if I actually ended up working there? Stay far away from this company.
