First I had an interview with the head of HR for the position which went well. I was then scheduled in for a test day where I worked for half a day and was introduced to the team I would be potentially be working with. The team were friendly and I was told the test day went well. After this I was scheduled to meet with the head of the company and had a short interview. He brought be down to the team lead from the day before and we sorted out what day I would start work and they congratulated me on getting the role. Of course I believed I had been given the position as they told me as much in person and arranged my starting day Monday week. The next week I receive an email at 9pm from HR telling me I was not successful in the interview etc etc. Of course at this point I was extremely confused as I was informed I had the position and would be starting next week. HR couldn't even put me in contact with Ronan the head despite the fact he was the one to tell me I got the job. I would advise anyone to avoid interviewing with this company as you can't take their word at all and if you do to insist on a contract immediately after the interview.
