This was an unusual process to say the least. They started the communications through a third party website, at first it was fine but it took longer to receive responses and for them to receive my responses. It took roughly about 2 weeks to get an interview setup. My first interview was setup and then cancelled by them. Once the interview was cancelled there were no additional meeting times offered, I asked for a reschedule. (Their schedule link they were using was based off of UTC and they are in MST time zone and I am in CST zone, it was very confusing trying to calculate and keep up with this). They sent days and times, I replied with a new day and time and thought we were all set. That day came and went, no one contacted me or showed up virtually so to say. So I reached out again, it was about 8:00 pm my time when someone responded to me and said they never received my response about a new meeting time and asked if I could do a quick phone screening right then. I was pretty tired after a long at work, my family and I had just finished dinner and my daughter was getting ready for bed. I declined that time and setup a different time and day. The day of my scheduled interview 7 hours before the interview time one of the employees emailed me a spreadsheet and wanted to do a click around. I was already a little frustrated at this point with the entire experience and what I felt was a lack in communication. The interview was supposed to last about 45 minutes but was over in about 15 minutes. I can actually do everything they were asking me to do in the Excel click around but decided in the start of the interview that I didn't want to work for this company. Which I probably should have just come out and said that but I didn't realize this until I was doing the click around exercise. I just counted it as a blessing.
